Dashrath Ka Danda Trek is the best weekend trek for family, Corporate workers & School groups with rafting & camping option. Dashrath ka Danda is located at an altitude of 4750 ft. above sea level. It is accessible from Deoprayag & Shivpuri, Rishikesh. Trekkers can see the confluence view of the holy Rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda and ancient temple of Lord Rama in Deoprayag; trek passes through villages, thick forest of rhododendron, pine and oak on the way wild animals.

Dashrath ka Danda trek offers a majestic view of Himalayan range snow-covered peaks like Banderpunchh, Chaukhamba, Trisul, Nanda Devi & a night stay in the camp which will be an unforgettable experience in life. The myth relates here to the great king Dashrath & Ultimate servant of his blind parents Sarvan Kumar & by mistake, King Dashrath hit Saravanan Kumar by arrow & he died here, so that day onwards this place is known as Dashrath ka Danda.

You can start the trek from Deoprayag via cultural villages; trails will pass through various Flora & Fauna. Pass through dense mixed forest and see some wild animals and plants on your way. You can also visit the places Khetu Tapped, where Sharavanan Kumara’s parents stayed, and even the place of his death known as Noli Dhara, where water sound still can be heard.

Visit some old mark of history relates to King Dasaratha. Trekkers can join other adventure activities like Bungee Jumping, Flying Fox, Zipline, Quad Bike Adventure, Kayaking, Air Safari & other activities.
